WADESBORO - Mrs. Ellen Maria Wagner Driggers, 80, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. There will be a memorial service at 3:00pm Sunday, September 20, 2015 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Jackson officiating. Inurnment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends Sunday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Ellen was born June 26, 1935 in Germany and was a daughter of the late Franz Josef Wagner and Kunigunde Ebertsch Wagner. She had worked for a number of years at Food Lion and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Surviving are her daughter, Jodie Driggers of Wadesboro and her granddaughters, Jiska Wagner of Germany and Debra Jackson of Wadesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Everett 'Eb' Driggers and son, Artmut Wagner. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
