Eloise Turner Quick Mrs. Jordan

CHERAW, SC - Mrs. Eloise Turner Quick Jordan, 99, of Cheraw, SC and formerly of Wadesboro, NC died Monday, August 15, 2016 at Chesterfield Convalescent Center where she had been a resident for the past 2 years. Graveside services will be 4:00pm Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ebenezer Rd., Bennettsville. The family will greet friends from 3:00pm until 4:00pm in the church fellowship hall. Eloise was born July 9, 1917 in Marlboro County, SC a daughter of the late Alex and Ella Chavis Turner. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and while a resident in Wadesboro she attended North Wadesboro Baptist Church. She loved gospel music. Surviving are her son, Jackie (Helen) Quick of Cheraw, SC; her grandchildren, Chuck (Roxanne) Quick of Rockingham, NC, Jacqueline Gause and Patricia (Todd) Bethea both of Bennettsville, SC; 8 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren and 10 step-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Therrel Jordan and Daniel Quick, son, Thomas Turner, daughter, Eva Dean Driggers, brothers, Alex Turner, Jr., Sam Turner, Belvin Turner, sisters, Ada Quick and Eva Turner and 8 step-grandchildren.
