WADESBORO - Mrs. Emma Coppedge Hamilton Gilmore, 91, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Ambassador Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Friday, April 3, 2015 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with her daughter, Rev. Jane Livingston and Rev. Ralph Tice officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton's Crossroad's Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Friday. Emma was born June 3, 1923 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late George Patrick and Laura Jane Vaughn Coppedge. She was retired from West Knitting Mills. Surviving are her daughters, Jane Livingston and Ranelle Williams both of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Rick Honeycutt of Monroe, Jill Freeman of Albemarle, Richard Williams of Peachland, Brian Williams and Jeffery Williams both of Wadesboro, Mike Womack of Polkton and Lisa Womack of Marshville; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and her sister, Mary (J.T.) Hildreth of Peachland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Boyce Lee Hamilton and Clifton Leroy Gilmore and her daughter, Alice Womack.
