Ernestine Pratt Niven Mrs. Ratliff

Mrs. Ernestine Pratt Niven Ratliff, 94, died Monday, November 18, 2013 at Ambassador Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Morven Cemetery with Rev. Larry King officiating. Ernestine was born May 24, 1919 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late John Ernest and Rosa Moore Pratt. She was a homemaker and a member of Morven United Methodist Church. Surviving are her nieces and nephew, Jane (Don) Streater, Peggy Lathan, Nancy Marr, Susan (Jerry) Jackson and Johnny Pratt and her step-children, William Niven, Sarah Niven, Charles Edward Ratliff, Jr., Mary Burnette and Jack Ratliff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Leitch Niven and Charles Edward Ratliff and by her brothers and sisters, Carroll Pratt, John Pratt, Margaret Lathan and Eva Riccio. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Ernestine's caregivers, Virginia Ruth (Lyndon) Woodburn, her cousin and Jack (Betty) Ratliff, her step-son and to the staff of Ambassador Health and Rehab where she had been a resident since 2002.
