Pfafftown Mrs. Eva Yokeley Flinchum, 87, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born August 5, 1927 in Forsyth County to the late John Robert and Alma Reid Yokeley. She was a member of Pfafftown Baptist Church. Mrs. Flinchum enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death was her husband, Bert W. Flinchum, Sr., and a brother, Robert Yokeley. Surviving are a son, Bert W. Flinchum, Jr. (Martha) of Wadesboro; four daughters, Brenda Pugh (Dan) of Lewisville, Susan Wall (Wade) of Kernersville, Anna Rathbone (Robbie) of Lewisville, and Sandy Dameron (Russ) of Pfafftown; 11 grandchildren, Dawn Miller, Amy Duggins, Carrie Imler, Josh Miller, Jeremy Hammons, Casie Hammons, Katie Scarborough, Matt Flinchum, Megan Chelko, Tori Dameron, and Dylan Dameron; also surviving are five great-grandchildren and a special friend and neighbor, Travis Ivester. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Rev. Kevin L. Kilbreth officiating. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to thank the staff at Kate B.
