Wadesboro - Mr. Everette Sellers, 85, died Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Olivet United Methodist Church, Lilesville with Rev. Kaye Fry officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00pm at Bay Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Chesterfield, SC. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday the church. Everette was born June 1, 1929 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late James Phillip Sellers and the late Mollie Clanton Sellers. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Wade Manufacturing with 40 years of service. He was a long-time member of Olivet United Methodist Church. Surviving are his brother, Paul Sellers of the home; his nieces and nephews, Linda Usrey, Frances (Jabie) Burroughs, Randy (Becky) Nance and Cynthia (Gary) Conklin all of Lilesville, Molly Sue Adams of Wadesboro, Judy (Don) Horne, Melvin (Carol) Nance, Jr., Jane (Ed) Nance and Joyce Johnson all of Peachland, Jim (Pauline) Sellers of Robbins, Ed Nance of Chesterfield, SC and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Newberry and Mildred Sellers and his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Elizabeth and Melvin Nance. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Olivet United Methodist Church, % Martha D. Goodwin, 3788 Stanback Ferry Rd., Lilesvile, NC 28091. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
