LILESVILLE - Mrs. Faye Miller Kelly, 77, died Friday, May 8, 2015 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Lilesville Baptist Church with Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. Interment will follow in Lilesville Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday and other times at the home. Faye was born July 11, 1937 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Wallace and Lettie Thrift Miller. She retired from Britthaven as the company's Dietary Consultant, working with their facilities from the mountains to the coast. She was a devoted member of Lilesville Baptist Church and often enjoyed visiting the Cowboy Church in Lilesville. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Sim Kelly of the home; her children, Nancy (Rufus) Kelly Bryant of Morven, Dale (Kathy) Kelly of Liesville and Danny Kelly of Fairfield City, MN; her sisters, Tess Quinn of Cowpens, SC and Jean (Olin) Boone of Lilesville; 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Coot Thrift, William 'Dub' Miller, Bobby Miller and Louise Crump.
