George Skip Mr. Bergman

Wadesboro- Mr. George Walter 'Skip' Bergman, Jr. 52, died Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at is home. Memorial services will be 4:00pm Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Faith Baptist Church in Lilesville with Rev. Doug Moore officiating. The family will greet friends at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 3:00pm. Skip was born August 11, 1961 in Duval County, FL, a son of the late George Walter Bergman and Beverly Dawn Haynes Bergman. He worked in landscaping and construction. Surviving are his children, George Bergman III, Heidi (Jason) Zell, Ryan (Heather) Pierce and Rashel (Justin) Honeycutt; grandchildren, Destinie, Amber, Jason Jr., Alexis, Trinity, Katie and Logan; his brothers and sisters, Bryon ( Mary) Bergman, Clifton (Wendy) Bergman, Tom Sehute, Dawn (Coy) Epley and Linda (Daryl) Reynolds; his sister-in-law, Wendy Bergman and his former wife, Diane Sergent. In addition to his parents, Skip was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Marie Pond Bergman and his brother, Rick Bergman. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
