George Rufus Mr. Harris, III

Mr. George Rufus Harris, III was the first born child to George R. Harris, Jr and Cynthia Tillman Harris on November 25, 1981 in Anson County. He was called home on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the age of 32. George was a member of Saron Baptist Church in Polkton at an early age and was a graduate of Anson Senior High School, class of 2000. Those left to hold loving and everlasting memories of George, III are one daughter, Fatima Harris of Louisville, KY; his parents, George, Jr. and Cynthia Harris of Polkton; one sister, Synethia Harris, and three brothers, Romer, Christopher and Samuel Harris all of Polkton; one very special niece, Kennedy Harris of Polkton; his loving grandmother, Rosie Harris of Southmills; two special aunts, Virgie Sturdivant of Wadesboro and Mary Garris of Polkton and a host of aunts, uncles cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Saturday, November 29, 2014 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery in Polkton.
