Gertrude Lovett Mrs. Harrington

Mrs. Gertrude Lovett Harrington, 94, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Lillie Bennett Nursing Center. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, February 23, 2012 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro with Dr. Frank Catanzaro and Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service on Thursday and other times at the home of her son in Lilesville. Gertrude was born October 19, 1917 in Darlington, SC a daughter of the late Exton Reuben and Nettie Skipper Lovett. Her husband, Jack Harrington preceded her in death. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Jane Harrington of Marshville, Richard and Gaye Harrington of Lilesville and Kenny and Jean Harrington of Norwood; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
