Gloria Wanita Barbour

WADESBORO- Mrs. Gloria Wanita Barbour, 72, died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC. Funeral services will be Sunday 3:00PM in Cathedral Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Swaringen officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service in the church beginning at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. Wanita was born March 1, 1939 in Fayette County, KY, she is a daughter of the late Howard and Guessie Kearns Scott. She was a member of Cathedral Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Eric Barbour of Wadesboro; her granddaughter, Danielle Holt of Wadesboro; her sister Liberty 'Connie' Wills of Lexington, KY Wanita was preceded in death by her husband, James Atlee Barbour.
