Hanna Naguib Mr. Farah

WADESBORO - Mr. Hanna Naguib Farah, 83, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at Emeritus at South Park in Charlotte. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Calvary Episcopal Church with Father John Wallace and Father Michael Bye officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church. Hanna was born January 1, 1931 in Jerusalem, Palestine a son of the late Naguib Hanna Farah and Mary Khamis. He worked as a Medical Supply Officer with World Health Organization, which is part of the United Nations in Alexandria, Egypt. He is survived by his children, Dr. Naguib Farah and wife, Monica of Waxhaw, Tony Farah and Mira Farah both of Charlotte; his grandchildren, John Luke, Alayna, Peter and Marc Farah all of Waxhaw and his sister, Ellen Kort of San Francisco. His wife, Fernande V. Farah preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 5108 Kuykendall Rd., Charlotte, NC 28270 or Calvary Episcopal Church, 308 E. Wade St., Wadesboro, NC 28170.
