Helen Mrs. Threadgill

Lilesville - Mrs. Helen Louise Morton, 69, died Friday, May 10, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM Wednesday in Fall Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Orville Threatt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday at Leavitt Funeral Home. Helen was born in Anson County on February 5, 1944, a daughter of the late Floyd Morton and Addie Bumgarner Morton. She was a retired textile worker and member of Fall Branch Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James 'Buster' Threadgill; a daughter, Angela Lear of Lilesville; two grandchildren, Amanda Hanna (Logan) and Zachary Hanna; brothers and sisters, Wayne Morton (Martha) and Tommy Morton both of Lilesville, Barbara 'Bobbi' Trantham (Bill) of Clyde, Doris Mauldin of Norwood, and Sue McElroy of Lilesville.
