Henry Thomas "Tommy" Harward

          WADESBORO – On Sunday, June 11, 2023, Mr. Henry Thomas “Tommy” Harward, 56, passed away peacefully at his home.

            There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM Friday, June 16, 2023 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Heather McIntyre officiating. Inurnment will follow in Anson Memorial Park.

            The family will greet friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the funeral home.

            Tommy was born January 30, 1967 in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late Henry Thomas Harward and the late Shirley Ann Trexler Harward. He was a 1985 graduate of Anson High School and had worked as a pipe fitter. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Wadesboro.

            Those left to cherish his memory are his companion of 15 years, Peggie Mangam of the home; his sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Marty Mihalyfi of Clayton and his fur babies.
