POLKTON - Mrs. Irene Ann Tenneberg Jackson, 73, died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Funeral services will be 1:30pm Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jean Pierre Swamunu Lhoposo officiating. The family will greet friends from 6:00pn until 8:00pm Friday, August 3, 2012 at Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro. Irene was born September 19, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY the only child of the late Henry and Irene Such Tenneberg. She was retired from Anson County Transportation Services and was a member of Sacred Hearth Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, John William Jackson of the home; her children, Johnny (Judy) Jackson of Hudson, FL, Cathy (James) Farris of Polkton, Henry (Daniella) Jackson, David (Claudia) Jackson and Susan Atkinson all of New Port Richey, FL and Roy Jackson of Polkton; her grandchildren, Brittney, Corey, Courtney, Lillian, Sara, Charlie and Kelly Jackson, Scott Adams, Isaac and Jacob Peek, Lacey Gause and Kimberly Buck; 5 great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Shelley Jackson of Monroe.
