ROCKINGHAM - Mrs. Jackie Teal Hazen, 66, of Rockingham and formerly of Wadesboro died Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Chesterfield General Hospital in Cheraw, SC. The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until 4:00pm Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro and other times at the home of her son, Kevin Goodwin in the Cason's Old Field Community. Jackie was born June 2, 1948 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Jack and Myrtle Bowers Teal. She was a Respiratory Therapist at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. Surviving are her children, Donna (Steve) Carter of Wadesboro, Kevin (Brenda Cribb) Goodwin of Cason's Old Field, Matthew Hazen and David Hazen both of Baton Rouge, LA; her grandchildren, Christopher 'Chrisco' Goodwin of Cason's Old Field, Jodie (Alyssa) Goodwin of Cheraw, SC and Dawn Carter of Wadesboro; her great-grandchildren, Alaina, Addison, and Landon Goodwin all of Cheraw, SC; her daughter-in-law, Martha 'Cookie' Goodwin of Morven and her former husbands, R.A.
