James Stephen Jimmy Mr. Cassidy

WADESBORO - Mr. James Stephen Cassidy, 58, died Friday, August 21, 2015 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. A memorial service will be 3:00pm Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Word of Life Church in Peachland. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Jimmy was born April 30, 1957 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Mack Cassidy and Margie Johnson Cassidy. He had worked as a carpenter doing home repairs and remodeling. Surviving are his son, Justin Cassidy of Wadesboro; 6 grandchildren and his brothers and sisters, Irene (Tommy) McKenzie of POlkton, Maxine (Bill) Smith of Missouri, Frankie Cassidy of Ellerbe, Randy (Donna Kay) Cassidy of Rockingham and Ricky (Janice) Cassidy of Wadesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Cassidy, sons, Billy Griffin and Michael Cassidy and brother, Donnie Cassidy.
