James Madison Curlee

WADESBORO Mr. James Madison "Jimmy" Curlee, 83, died Monday, March 5, 2018 at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, March 9, 2018 at North Wadesboro Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Jimmy was born January 31, 1935 in Anson County, NC the only son of the late Henry Frank Curlee and the late Mary Jane Buff Curlee. He worked for more than 20 years at Little Cotton Mfg. and was a long time member of North Wadesboro Baptist Church and often visited Calvary Baptist Church when North Wadesboro was not having services. He is survived by his many cousins and their families. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Wadesboro Baptist Church, 1211 N Green St, Wadesboro, NC 28170 or to the Gideons International, Anson Camp, P.O. Box 904, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
