LILESVILLE - Mr. James Thomas 'Tommy' Knotts, 67, died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home, Wadesboro. Interment will follow in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Lilesville.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home Wednesday.
Tommy was born July 25, 1948 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Wilbert Thomas 'W.T.' Knotts and the late Gladys Webster Knotts. He had worked for a number of years with Delta Mills in Cheraw, SC, as a security guard and owned and operated an appliance repair business. He was known in the community as 'The Washing Machine Man'.
Surviving are his sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and John Powe of Creedmoor, Joan and Tony Puckett and Jean and Henry Pratt both of Lilesville and his nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Ann Knotts, sister, Anna Sue Webb and grandmother, Lou Knotts Clark.
