James Wade Mr. Parker

WADESBORO - Mr. James Wade Parker,MSGT RET USAF, 77, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Memorial service will be 11:00am Friday, January 18, 2013 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. George Senter officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of his son on 806 Old Lilesville Road in Wadesboro. Wade was born December 24, 1935 in Anson County, NC a son of the late James Carlie and Naomi Ricketts Parker. He was retired from the United States Air Force and Anson County Water Department. Surviving are his wife, Lamy Parker of the home; his children, Mike (Sarah) Parker and Jason (Dee Dee) Parker both of Wadesboro, Bobby Parker of Monroe, Danny Parker of Wadesboro and Carol Parker of Boston, MA; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Star Parker and his niece, Stephanie Parker both of Wadesboro. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Parker and his sister, Judy Parker. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
