Polkton - On Wednesday, October 7, 2020, Mr. Jasper Eugene Allen, 67, died at Hospice of Union County in Monroe, NC. Services will be 1:00pm Saturday, October 10, 2020 by the graveseide in Bennett Grove Cemetery in Polkton. Jasper was born April 28, 1953 in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late George Capel Allen and the late Katie Jane Gulledge Allen. He had worked for a number of years at Edwards Wood Products. Surviving are his children, Bily Ray Allen and Mary Catherine Allen both of Rockingham; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his sisters and brothers, Hazel Gaines of Winston-Salem, Jeanette Hagin and Charlie Allen both of Wadesboro and Bobby Allen of Polkton and his caregiver, LaSonya Clark of Wadesboro and her family.
