Jean Knotts Mrs. Thompson

Jean Knotts Thompson, 88, of Denver, NC passed away January 9, 2013. She was born November 27, 1924 in Anson County, the daughter of the late Thomas Hendrix and Lois Smart Knotts. She was the youngest of ten children. Jean was married to the former Bill L. Thompson on December 23, 1944. They resided in Winston-Salem for 37 years where Jean retired from Hauser Rental Service after 20 years. She was a member of Mt Tabor United Methodist Church in Winston-Salem, but found a special church home at Westport Baptist Church in Denver. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Via and her husband Eddy and two grandchildren Graham and Joelle. Her family would like to thank Hospice o f Charlotte for their compassionate and caring support to Jean and her family.
