WADESBORO - Mr. Jeffrey Craig Lambert, 48, died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Tony High officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Leavitt Funeral Home. Jeff was born January 9, 1968 in Iredell County, NC a son of Calvin Ray Lambert and Bonnie Warren Lambert. He was a correctional officer with Brown Creek Medium Correctional Center in Polkton and was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Bowman High School and received a Business Degree from LSU and was currently enrolled in seminary. Surviving are his daughter, Samantha Lambert (Scott) of Mt. Pleasant; his granddaughter, Serenity; his father, Calvin Lambert and wife, Heather of Morven; his mother, Bonnie Lambert of Conover; his brothers and sister, Eric Lambert(Cheryl) and David Lee Lambert (Tracy) both of Polkton and Holly Thomas (Robbie) of Wadesboro; his grandmother, Polly Brooks of Polkton and his nieces and nephews, Whitney Lambert, Peyton Lambert, Tanner Lambert, Chloe Lambert, Julian Suriba, and Caleb Lambert. He was preceded in death by the mother who raised him, Brenda Brooks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mineral Springs Baptist Church, 4226 Mineral Springs Church Rd, Polkton NC 28135.
