ANSONVILLE - Miss Jennifer Renee Hyatt, 36, died Monday, November 2, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Red Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Clements officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday in the church fellowship hall. Jennifer was born November 8, 1978 in Stanly County, NC the only child of Jimmy Ray Hyatt and the late Arelene Huneycutt Hyatt. She was a graduate of Anson High School, earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Pfeiffer University and later her Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She taught third grade for 10 years at Norwood Elementary School and was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. Surviving are her father, Jimmy Ray Hyatt of Ansonville; her grandmother, Ruth Watkins Biles of Ansonville, her aunts and uncles, Ruth Ann and Frank Pope and Danny and Carol Biles of Ansonville, Beatrice Moore and Helen Helms both of Aquadale, Jeanette Huneycutt of Wadesboro, Ben Huneycutt of Charlotte, Sam Huneycutt of Atlanta, GA, Leonard Huneycutt of Polkton and George Huneycutt of Cherry Grove Beach, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anson County on Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels Program, 199 HWY 742 South, Wadesboro, NC 28170. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
