WADESBORO - Mrs. Jessica Cutforth Dixon, 82, of Wadesboro, died Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Lincoln England, following a brief illness while staying with friends.
She was born in Nottingham, England on March 25, 1932 a daughter of the late John William Cutforth and Ethel Fillery Cutforth. She moved to America with her husband and children in 1968.
For the past several years, she has loved living in her little house in Wadesboro, attending First United Methodist Church and participating in the Fellowship Class there.
In addition to her parents and six siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Dixon, their daughter, Catherine Dixon and granddaughter, Morgan Jane Dill.
Surviving are her much loved companion, Mr. Robin Seymour; her daughter, Becky (Gene) Dill; her sons, Andrew (Patricia) Dixon and David (Jacqueline) Dixon; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral plans are in care of Alford Crematorium in England, but are incomplete at this time. The family extends their appreciation to Leavitt Funeral Home for assisting them locally.
