LILESVILLE - Mr. Jimmie Kemp Wall, 79, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. There will be a memorial service at 3:00pm Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Teddy Lawson officiating. Inurnment will follow in Lilesville Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Jim was born January 10, 1937 in Lucedale, MS a son of the late Stephen Graham Wall and the late Lucy Covington Morton Wall. He was a 1955 graduate of Lilesville High School and a member of Lilesville Baptist Church since childhood. He retired from Blythe Construction with 47 years of service. Surviving are his son, Jimmy Graham Wall of the home; his brothers and sister, Bill (Myrtle) Wall of Lilesville, John L. (Dianne) Wall of Hartsville, SC and Dot Northcutt of Rockingham; his best friend, Jerry Hinson of Lilesville and his nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sara Adams Wall and brother and sister, Stephen G. Wall, Jr. and Patti Wall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lilesville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 305, Lilesville, NC 28091. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
