ANSONVILLE - Mr. Jimmy Ray Hyatt, 80, died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Red Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Clements officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
Jimmy Ray was born January 24, 1937 in Anson County, NC and was a son of Ruth Watkins Hyatt Biles and the late Elkin Hyatt. He was retired from Huntley Buick.
Surviving are his mother, Ruth Biles and his sister and brother, Ruth Ann Pope and husband, Frank and Danny Biles and wife, Carol all of Ansonville and his nephews and their families.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Arelene Hyatt, daughter, Jennifer Hyatt, step-father, Hoyle Biles and his nephew, Nick Biles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
