Jo Ann Miss McCormick

LILESVILLE - Miss Jo Ann McCormick, 61, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013 as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Forestville United Methodist Church with Rev. Kaye Fry officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday in the church fellowship hall. Jo Ann was born May 29, 1952 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Harvey Jesse McCormick and the late Jessie Mae Bunn McCormick. She had been employed at Unity Knitting until her health declined. Surviving are her brothers and sister, Harvey 'Buck' McCormick and wife, Mary, Charlie McCormick and Linda McCormick all of Lilesville; her companion, George Teal of Lilesville; her aunts, Lib Lear and husband, Bill of Wadesboro and Allie Mae McCormick of Peachland; her special cousin, Shirley Ratliff and husband, Mike of Ansonville and her nieces and nephews.
