John Edward Mr. Brown

Mr. John Edward Brown, 39, died July 9, 2013 when the vehicle he was driving collided with a fallen tree. Graveside services will be 11:00AM Saturday in Bethlehem Cemetery with Rev. Johnny Wilson officiating. The family will greet friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home. John was born in Anson County on December 1, 1973, a son of Mrs. Sara Brown and the late James Lewis Brown. He was known to many as a handyman with painting being his area of expertise. Big John will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include two children, Alicia Rose Brown (age 17) and Jason Edward Brown (age 14) both of West Virginia; his mother, Sara J. Brown; brothers, Jimmy (Karen) Brown, Timmy (Becky) Brown, Frank (Gail) Brown; sisters, Janice (Rick ) Cassidy, Jackie (Phil) Harris, Judy (Doug) Cook, Mary Ann (Jeff) Preslar; and many nieces and nephews.
