John Franklin "Johnny" High

            PEACHLAND – On Monday, July 25, 2022, Mr. John Franklin “Johnny” High, 65, passed away peacefully at Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro.

 

            The service will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 28, 2022, by the graveside in the High Family Cemetery, HWY 74, Peachland.

 

            The family will greet friends following the service.

 

            Johnny was born December 22, 1956, in Union County, NC and was a son of the late Jim High and the late Thelma Yarborough High. He worked in the construction industry, having worked with several local contractors.

 

            Surviving are his children, Michael High and wife, Marie of Peachland and Stephen High of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Zach High and Kaylie High both of Peachland; his brothers, Joseph High and wife, Cathy of Wadesboro and Julian High of Peachland and his nephews, Joseph High, Jr. and Chris High both of Wadesboro and Taylor High of Peachland.

 

            The family would like to thank the staff of Anson Health and Rehab for all they did for Johnny while he was in their care and to Hospice of Union County for their support during his final days.

 

            In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
