Wadesboro - Mr. John Davis 'Jack' Funderburke, 79, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Ambassador Health & Rehab of Wadesboro.
Graveside services will be 2:00PM Tuesday in Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Susan Sides officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Jack was born in Anson County on March 3, 1933, a son of the late Stephen Bowman and Minnie Vaughn Funderburke. He was retired from Hornwood, Inc. with more than forty years of service.
Survivors include two daughters, Sara (Richard) Holder of Wadesboro and Robin (Chuck) Preslar of Polkton; six grandchildren, Jennifer Harward, Greg Futrell, Matthew Holder, Chuck Preslar, Casie Preslar and Erin Kelley; and four great-grandchildren, Dylan McKowen, Chase Harward, Sierra Futrell and Gage Futrell.
Also surviving are a brother and sister, Harold Funderburke of Morven and Mary Carpenter of Wadesboro.
