Wadesboro - Mr. John Mason Jones, Sr., 81, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at Hospice of Union County in Monroe. Services will be 11:30am Monday, December 29, 2014 by the graveside in Westview Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until 11:00am at Leavitt Funeral Home. Mr. Jones was born March 3, 1933 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Joe Jones and Glennie Lee Hough Campbell. He was retired from Wade Manufacturing. Surviving are his sons, Willie John 'Boo Boo' Jones and John Mason Jones, Jr. and his brother, George Campbell. The arrangements were in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
