MARIETTA, SC – On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, Mr. John Timothy Taylor, 71, passed away peacefully at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. 

 Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 17, 2025, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery in Peachland. 

 The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home. 

 He was born December 2, 1953, in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late James Guy Taylor and the late Rosa Estelle Wright Taylor. He had worked for more than 20 years with The Torrington Company in Laurens, SC. 

 He was a graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, SC and Greenville Technical College in Greenville, SC. 

 Those who are left to cherish his memory are his sons, Luke Taylor of Travelers Rest, SC and Travis Taylor of Cross Hill, SC, his brother and sister, Chris Taylor of Greenville, SC and Jamie Taylor of W, Columbia, SC. 

 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Marshall Taylor and David Taylor.
