ROCKINGHAM - Mr. Johnathan Ray Watts, 36, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at The Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Ken Shipley and Rev. Steve Gilmer officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home. Johnathan was born October 5, 1979 in Richmond County, NC a son of John Thomas Toby Watts, III and Darlene Edmonds Watts. He had worked with Oakwood Homes and Chance Painters. Surviving are his children, Justin Ray Watts and Skylar Michelle Watts both of Rockingham; his companion, Leah Rodriguez of Rockingham; his parents, Toby and Darlene Watts of Rockingham; his brothers, Stephen Watts and Jacob Watts both of Rockingham; his grandmothers, Hollie Mae Watts and Lucille Edmonds both of Rockingham; his aunts and uncles, Rhonda and Darrell McDonald, Tonya and Greg Baldwin, and Brenda Stogner all of Rockingham, Tammy and Bubba Kirkley and Gloria and Victor Faires both of Hamlet; Danny and Tanja Edmonds of Conway, SC and Michael and Loria Edmonds of Bennetsville, SC. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro.
