Johnny Michael "Mike" McAllister

Mr. Johnny Michael “Mike” McAllister of San Antonio, TX formerly of Wadesboro, NC passed away Friday, December 15,2023 at his home in San Antonio.

He was born October 16, 1962 in Chesterfield, SC and was a son of the late Otis Edward McAllister and the late Julia "Judy" Gaddy McAllister. Mike loved driving his big truck, which as a childhood dream. He drove for more than 30 years, having driven for various companies including, Howard Lisk Trucking, Knights Trucking and Auto Truck Transport. He loved the job, the union and the people.

Mike is survived by his wife, Cathy McAllister of the home, his stepdaughters Jeanette Fireheart (Larry) of San Antonio, TX, Christa Garrison (Sean) of Arcadia, CA, his sisters and brother, Terry Freeman (Jimmy), Teresa Downer (Mickey), Frank McAllister (Donna) all of Lilesville, NC and his loving nieces and nephews.

An informal visitation will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 6:30- 8:00 pm at the home of Frank and Donna McAllister, 108 Third St, Lilesville, NC.
