Wadesboro - Mr. Joseph Vann Sims, 29, died Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his home in Wadesboro. Memorial services will be 4:00pm Monday, February 10, 2014 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Brooks Officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home and other times at the home. Joseph was born in Anson County, NC September 4, 1984 a son of Vann Wiley Sims and Peggy Jarrell Sims. He is survived by his children, Kaitlyn Sims and Harmony Marie Scarborough both of Wadesboro; his parents, Vann Wiley Sims and Peggy Jarrell Sims of Wadesboro; his brother, Elvis Vann Sims of Wadesboro.
