Joshua James Carpenter

PEACHLAND - On Friday, April 14, 2023, Mr. Joshua James Carpenter, 25, passed away at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 20, 2023 by the graveside in Griffin Cemetery in Polkton with Rev. Randy Swaringen officiating.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Leavitt Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother in Wadesboro.

Josh was born March 2, 1998 in Union County, NC and was a son of Sylvia Ratliff Carpenter and the late Richard Neil Carpenter. He was a graduate of Anson High School.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sylvia; his sisters and brothers, Mary Carpenter, Richie (Kayla) Carpenter, Michael Carpenter, Terriann Carpenter and Adam Carpenter all of Wadesboro, Wynonna (Jimmy) Tullie of Rhode Island and Tim (Lynn)Thomas of Peachland; his nephews and niece, Isaac, Isaiah and Oliva Carpenter all of Wadesboro and his aunts and uncles and cousins.
