Joyce Ann Meachum Mrs. Hildreth

Wadesboro- Mrs. Joyce Ann Meachum Hildreth, 73, died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Richmond Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Hamlet. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hildreth Family Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Monday, September 12, 2016 at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son, Karl Hildreth. Joyce was born September 23, 1942 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Willie Benjamin and Julia Grace Phillips Meachum. She was retired as a office secretary for her son, Karl Hildreth's Concrete Business. Surviving are her children, Karl (Lisa) Hildreth of Wadesboro, Karla (Barry) Bostick of Hoffman and Frank (Lynn) Hildreth of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Benji Hildreth, Kristy Hildreth, Adam Hildreth, Avery Hildreth, Sissy Weil, Karl Hildreth, Jr., Frank Hildreth, Albert Franklin Hildreth and Grace Bostick; and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her two sisters, Nancy Presley of Macon, GA and Cathy D. Tarlton of Lilesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Hildreth, two sons, Benjamin 'Benny' Hildreth Jr. and Albert Hildreth, a great-grandchild, Benjamin Riley Weil, three brothers and two sisters.
