WADESBORO - Mrs. Juanita Lee Williams, 98, died Friday, December 4, 2015 at Meadowview Terrace Assisted Living. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Juanita was born December 18, 1916 in Forsythe County, NC, however she grew up in High Point, NC a daughter of the late Hobert Tyrus Lee and the late Jessie Helena Farabee Lee. She retired from Duff Norton in Wadesboro as inventory controller, was a member of Down to Earth Garden Club and First United Methodist Church, Wadesboro. Surviving are her daughters, Leslie Capell and husband, Kerry of Mt. Gilead, Adrienne Thomas of Ocean Isle and Tina Crain and husband, John of Oak Ridge; her grandchildren, Jeff Capell of Charlotte, Brian Capell and wife, Victoria of Monroe, Sam Thomas and wife, Miranda and Christi Ziebell and husband, Eric all of Bennettsville, SC, Katherine Pew and husband, Doug of Darlington, SC, Sydney Walker and husband, Chris of Brunswick, GA and John Crain, III and wife, Bryony of Raleigh; her great-grandchildren, Braedan and Braxton Capell, Camdyn Thomas, Michael Ziebell, Emma Walker and Eady Pew; and her sister, Madeline Fowler of High Point. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester H. Williams and brother and sisters, Hobert Lee, Helen Lee McCurry and Geraldine Lee Tobin. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staffs of both Liberty Home Care and Hospice and Meadowview Terrace Assisted Living for their care of Juanita.
