Julia Mrs. Winfree

Wadesboro - Mrs. Julia Misenheimer Winfree, 89, died Friday, January 1, 2016, at Hospice Haven in Rockingham, NC. Graveside services will be 11:30AM Tuesday at Anson Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Sarah Kalish officiating. Julia was born September 23, 1926, in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late James Ralph and Mamie Currie Misenheimer. She married Jack Winfree in 1952. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Winfree of Rockingham, Bobby Winfree of Wadesboro, and George Winfree (Sharon) of Marshville; three grandchildren, Holly Winfree, Ellen Steele, and Hayley Wright; four great-grandchildren, J.R. Herold, Caleb Steele, Ethan Steele, and Tyler Mullis Jr. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and a brother, Jim Misenheimer.
