Keith Eugene Mr. Diggs

LILESVILLE - Mr. Keith Eugne Diggs, 61, died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at FirstHealth Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral services will be 4:00pm Sunday, June 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Gum Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday and other times at the home. Keith was born March 3, 1954 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Henry Wilson 'Pete' Diggs and Sara Hinson Diggs. He worked at Clark Equipment in Rockingham and later at Shrader Bridgeport in Monroe. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife Wanda Starnes Diggs of the home; his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Tom Covil of Hampstead; his sister-in-law, Sandra Diggs of Rocky Point; his nieces and nephew, Alicia (David) Huntley of Wadesboro, Victoria (Andrew) Yates of Hampstead, Brandon (Amanda) Diggs and Blair (Zack) Watters both of Rocky Point and Krystal (Greg) Cully of Monroe; great-nephews and niece, Keith Neal Huntley, Braydon Diggs and Sara Yates and his God-son, Dakotah Cox. The family would like to express their appreciation to Ted and Lynn Cox, Barry and Julie Grooms and Sherri Chisholm for their loving support for Keith and Wanda.
