PEACHLAND - Mr. Kenneth Claude Kiker, 70, died Thursday, October 16, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Hopewell United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro.
Kenneth was born June 30, 1944 in Anson County, NC a son of the late Charles Hampton and Ruby Little Kiker. He was retired from Allvac with 35 years of service to the company.
Surviving are his children, Dennis Kiker of Peachland, Cynthia (Chris) Bales of Apex and Bryan (Jennifer) Kiker of Polkton; his grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Katie, Matthew and Timothy Kiker; his great-grandchildren, Zachary and Raylyn; his sister, Linda (Jimmy) Phifer of Marshville and his nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brother, Edsel Kiker.
Kenneth was an avid Nascar fan, loved to design, build and fly model airplanes and was mechanically gifted. He will be remembered most, however, as a loving father and grandfather.
