Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, February 26, 2023 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.

Kenneth was born March 4, 1984 in Stanly County, NC and was the only son of Kent Crawford Lowe and Phyllis Taylor Lowe. He attended Anson County Schools and worked at Brown Creek Animal Hospital as a vet-tech.

In 2003, Kenneth, along with his uncle, volunteered to assist with the crash site recovery of the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster in Texas.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Kent Lowe of Wadesboro and Phyllis Taylor Lowe  (Tim Boone) of Morven; his beloved companion, Baby Girl, a Toy Fox Terrier; his uncles and aunts, Mark and Janet Lowe of West End, Jane and Jimmy Cooper of Locust, Norris and Loraine Horne of Marshville and Steve Taylor (Judy Williams) of Peachland and his cousins, Garret Lowe of West End and Beverly Griffin (Gary) of Marshville and their family.

Kenneth was gifted and creative. He could play the harmonica, guitar and piano, all by ear and has written music that has been recorded by his childhood friends who make up the popular group, “The Sammie’s”. He had a great sense of humor to go along with his being artistic.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Betty Crawford Lowe and George Taylor and Vangeline Ward.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or to Eastview Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 274, Wadesboro, NC 28170.
