Kenneth Hyman Townsend, Jr.

Morven - Kenneth Hyman Townsend, Jr., was born September 16, 1988 in Anson County, NC to Kenneth Hyman Townsend, Sr. and the late Sharon Sturdivant Townsend. He departed life on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at home in Bennettsville, SC. He attended Anson Senior High School and later received his GED. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games. He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, listed above; his wife, Elizabeth B. Townsend; his daughters, Makayla Townsend, Promise Townsend and JaJiya Burns; his sisters, Brittany Sturdivant and Elizabeth Townsend; his brothers, Jeremey Townsend (Samantha) Derrick Rivers (Jalessa), Lamont Rivers, Jamal Townsend and Timothy Townsend; his grandmothers, Melcine Townsend and Clarece Sturdivant; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clyde and Angela Burns and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. There will be a memorial service at 2:00pm Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home in Wadesboro. COVID 19 precautions, social distancing, and wearing masks at all times during the service for the protection of those in attendance.
