LILESVILLE - Mrs. Kimberly Johnson Hardison, 47, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 as the result of an automobile accident. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, January 26, 2014 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Bye officiating. Interment will follow in Morven Cemetery. The family will greet friends Sunday afternoon from 1:30pm until 3:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Kim was born August 8, 1966 in Mecklenburg County, NC a daughter of James Cleveland Johnson and Linda Morelock Johnson. She was employed with Domtar Papermill in Bennettsville, SC. Surviving are husband, Jay Hardison of the home; her sons, Shawn (Tiffany) Flores of Norwood and Terry Flores of the home; her grandchildren, Kaylee Jade Williams and Elijah Jaiden Flores of Norwood; her mother, Linda Johnson of Charlotte; her father, James Johnson of Huntersville and her brother and sister, Ricky Johnson of Monroe and Crystal Johnson of Charlotte. Also surviving are her Hardison family, mother-in-law, Dorothy Ann Hardison of Wadesboro; Dutch (Fonda) Hardison of Monroe, Ann (David) Black of Ansonville, Bill (Terri) Hardison and Ken (Brenda) Hardison both of Wadesboro, Robert (Katy) Hardison of Huntersville and Charlie (Randy) Moore of Marshville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Episcopal Church, 308 E. Wade St., Wadesboro, NC 28170. The arrangements are in care of Leavitt Funeral Home.
