MORVEN Mr. Lester Grover Williamson, 79, died Saturday, November 25, 2017 at his home. Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Bro. Sydney Pratt officiating. Interment will follow in Morven Cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Lester was born June 20, 1938 in Anson County, NC and was a son of the late Will Noah Williamson and the late Pauline Trexler Williamson. He was a well-known mason and carpenter for many years. Surviving are his long-time friend, Mary Dean of Morven; his sister, Patricia Baldis of Morven; his brothers, Harvey Williamson of Oxenhill, MD and Mike Williamson of Blythewood, SC and his nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Eddins Williamson; and his sisters and brothers, Julia Moore, Mary Alice Shook, Barbara Williamson, Sadie Campbell, Marjorie Elizabeth Williamson, Will Williamson, Ducky Williamson and Steel Williamson.
