WADESBORO - Mrs. Lillian Outlaw Turner, 84, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System Anson in Wadesboro.
Services will be 4:00pm Saturday, February 6, 2016 by the graveside in Ellerbe Cemetery in Ellerbe.
The family will greet friends from 2:00pm until 3:00pm Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home.
Lillian was born March 11, 1931 in Scotland County, NC a daughter of the late Buster Brown Outlaw and the late Maggie Graham Outlaw. She was retired from Little Cotton Mfg. and was a member of the Polkton Church of Christ.
Surviving are her children, Linda Hatcher Taylor of Laurinburg, Teresa Turner Biggers and husband, David and Phyllis Turner Goodwin both of Wadesboro and David Edward Turner and wife, Carol of Morven; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Edward Turner, daughter, Alice Faye Hatcher Parks, sons-in-law, Roland Taylor, Jr. and Jerry A. Goodwin, great-grandson, Jamie Austin Taylor and her sister and brothers, Amelia Ammons, Wilbur Outlaw, Rev. Titus Wade Outlaw and Sandy Outlaw.
