Linda Lowery Poe

LILESVILLE - Mrs. Linda Lowery Poe, 76, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at her home. There will be a memorial service at 2:00pm Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Morven. The family will greet friends following the service in the fellowship hall. A private inurnment will be at a later date in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. Linda was born December 11, 1939 in Anson County, NC a daughter of the late Andrew Vester Lowery and the Walter Lorraine Lowe Lowery. She was a life-long member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and was retired from Anson County Schools after 21 years of service. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Harold M. Poe of the home; her children, Debbie (Beemie) Gilmore of Chesterfield, SC, Alan (Susan) Poe and Daryl (Sheri) Poe both of Lilesville; her grandchildren, Dean (Taaffe) Sellers, Andrew Poe and Austin Poe all of Lilesville, April (Brian) Williams of Chesterfield, SC, Megan (Nick) Prieto of Manassass, VA and Kirstie (Kevin Rowland) Poe of Peachland; her great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Amber, Shalar, Charlie, Asher, Jacob, Raylan, Kenadee and Cole; her sisters, Josephine Williams of Cheraw, SC, Margaret (Donnie) Adams of Morven and Myra (William) Carpenter of Chesterfield, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Poe and brother, Richard Lowery.
