Linda Pegram Ratliff

LILESVILLE - On Monday, April 8, 2024, Mrs. Linda Pegram Ratliff, 79, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home with her family gathered by her bedside.

There will be a memorial service at 3:00 PM Thursday, April 11, 2024, in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home with Mr. Ken Caulder officiating.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday and other times at the home of her son and daughter-in-law.

Linda was born October 28, 1944, in Anson County, NC, and was a daughter of the late Will Garfield Pegram and the late Pauline Jordan Pegram. She worked for more than 20  years with Aramark Catering, having managed the canteens at Wade Manufacturing, Hornwood, and Coffing Hoists. She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Tammy Ratliff Brewer and husband, Earl of Rockingham and Mitchell Ratliff and wife, Sherry of Lilesville; her step-son, Mike Ratliffe and wife, Donna of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Amanda Ratliff (Michael Correira) of Lilesville, Will Ratliff (Erin) of Wadesboro, Cameron Brewer of Rockingham, Carly Ratliff and Levi Ratliff both of Lilesville and Adam Brewer and Cody Brewer both of Rockingham; her great-grandchildren, Elijah Parks, Gabriel Parks and Dillon Black; her sister, Diane Marks of Albemarle; a special friend, Joann Ricketts of Ruby, SC and her nieces and nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Franklin "Tootsie" Ratliff, Jr., and by her brothers, Harold Pegram and Ralph Pegram.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
