WADESBORO Mrs. Lisa Beaver Steele, 51, died Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center Union in Monroe. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, February 11, 2018 in the Chapel of Leavitt Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the funeral home and other times at the home of her parents. Lisa was born August 7, 1966 in Anson County, NC a daughter of Brenda Williams Parker and the late Wayne Edward Beaver. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked for a number of years at Lillie Bennett Nursing Center, now Anson Health and Rehab in Wadesboro. She took great pride in caring for her residents in the nursing facility where she worked. Surviving are her son, Remington Steele and his companion, Amber Preslar of Peachland; her adopted daughter, Anteria Hawbaker of Maryland; her grandchild, Lexi; her mother and step-father, Brenda and Ed Parker of Wadesboro; her brothers and sister, Eddie Beaver, Jr. and his companion, Linda Brown of Lilesville, Terri and Tim "Runt" Henry of Polkton and David and Leigh Parker of Wadesboro; her niece and nephews, Ashley Beaver, Michael and Pam Waller, Dennis Waller and his companion, Brittany Simon, Jon Waller, Cameron Parker and Connor Parker and her great-niece and great- nephew, Myah and Ayden Waller; and her special friends, Angie, Rose Lily, Frances and Terry.
